About this compound

Retatrutide, known in the literature as LY3437943 and to researchers as GLP-3, is a synthetic 39-amino-acid peptide that acts as a triple agonist, activating the GLP-1, GIP, and glucagon receptors at once. That profile makes it one of the most closely studied next-generation compounds in metabolic research.

Each vial is supplied as a sterile-filtered, lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder for reconstitution in the laboratory. Every lot is manufactured to one specification and batch-tested, so a 10 mg vial holds the same material as a 40 mg vial at ≥ 99% purity. Only the fill quantity changes.

Reconstitution & handling

Reconstitute with bacteriostatic or sterile water according to your protocol. Add the diluent slowly against the vial wall and swirl gently, do not shake. Once reconstituted, store refrigerated and protect from light. The batch COA lists recommended concentrations and post-reconstitution stability.

  • Store lyophilized vials at room temperature, away from light.
  • Bring to room temperature before opening to avoid condensation.
  • Use aseptic technique; the product is not sterile for injection.
  • Label with reconstitution date and discard per your SOP.

The triple-agonist mechanism

The three receptor targets that give GLP3 its name work together in metabolic research models. The diagram below summarizes how a single molecule engages all three.

GLP-1

incretin signaling and appetite pathways

GIP

incretin response and metabolic signaling

glucagon

energy regulation and substrate metabolism

single-molecule triple agonist

More detail on all three pathways is on our science page.

Answers

Common questions

Is the 10 mg the same material as the 40 mg?

Yes. Every lot is manufactured to one specification and batch-tested to the same ≥ 99% purity, so the only difference between the sizes is how much peptide is in the vial. A 40 mg vial is not a different grade, and it is not a concentrate.

Do the volume discounts add up across different sizes?

No. The tiers count the quantity of one size, not the total in your cart, so two 10 mg vials and one 20 mg vial is a two and a one rather than a three. Buying three of the same size is what reaches the 5% tier.

What concentration should I reconstitute to?

That is yours to decide from your protocol -- we do not specify one. The batch COA lists recommended concentrations and post-reconstitution stability, and each order includes bacteriostatic water so the choice is not constrained by what arrived in the box.

What happens if the size I want is out of stock?

Click the size that's out of stock and provide your email address to receive a notification when the product is back in stock. Your email will not be sold or used for any other purpose.

Do you ship outside the United States?

Not at present. We ship within the United States only. If a delivery cannot be completed or a parcel comes back to us, we will contact you to arrange reshipment.

Can I cancel an order, or send a vial back?

An order can be cancelled for a full refund any time before it is dispatched. After that it cannot, and opened or unsealed vials cannot be returned, because a research material's integrity depends on how it has been handled since it left us. If a vial arrives damaged or the wrong item turns up, email us within 7 days with the order number and a photo and we will replace it or refund it.
